Winged With Wire

I may be a loony, but I am what I am. I love dragons and Tortall and writing and bits of shiny things that I wrap with wire. I love cats and fanfiction and beautiful boys. I love poetry, I love singing, and I love living in fantasy worlds.

Reality is only what you make it, and the real dragons are those who breathe fire in everyday life. Our real strength comes through our convictions, and I'll be damned if all I'm going to do is blow smoke.

Song Suggestions?

Today has been a shitty day. It turns out that my uncle, who has severe lung cancer in his lungs and his spine, also has 8 problem spots in his brain. He was on chemo and radiation, and now he’s on radiation everyday. This conversation with my mother lead to a conversation about how both of my parents have terminal illnesses, their wills, and how long they expect to survive. Mom’s really torn up over this, since this uncle is her younger (and only) sibling. Today sucks.

SO—HERE’S MY REQUEST:

I would like suggestions of happy-cheerful, high energy songs to help me keep my spirits up. This is what I normally use to fuel my optimism, but I seriously need some help today.
