Winged With Wire: So, I've been considering making a side account for my pagan-ish type things
This would do a couple of different things:
- separate my fandom posts from my pagan posts, which may be nice for some of my IRL friends who don’t give a crap (they’re the only ones I care about, in this regard; sorry, dears)
- give me a focus for what I’m posting there
- let me really start…
I’ve found one Canaanite polytheist blog in the time I’ve had my religious blog (two years). Canaanite polytheists seem really rare.
As to having a blog specific to religion; I think it helps, yes.
Thank you for the feedback! I’m really glad to hear that it’s been a useful thing for you. The idea of doing something a little more focused, and maybe being able to share some of the Canaanite polytheistic resources would be a really decent way to go about this. They’re there, though hidden they may be.
Was the blog you found on tumblr? I’m be really excited to know, if it was. I think I’ve found most of the others that exist. There’s a small handful, but they’re generally linked to on all of Tess Dawson’s internet activity.
The blog I found was on Wordpress. It has since shut down, as far as I know. I loved following it even if I didn’t fully understand the religion, itself. But then, I love reading about new and/or different religions in paganism. I’m a collector of knowledge.
I think you should do the blog for specific to your religious stance. It would also be easier to pass along the information to any newbies who comes along asking.
I think I very likely may. :)
Were you following the Mathbatu wordpress? I didn’t realize that they’d closed it. :( That’s very sad.
If you’re looking to keep following some of it, Tess Dawson’s blog if fabulous. She links to a ton of beautiful sites of similar knowledge, and she spends an amazing amount of time doing research.

It was Mathbatu! And I shall add Tess to my blog roll.
I think that you’ll probably find that you really enjoy her. :)
